Since 2012 Silvana Imam has been making waves in the Swedish rap scene. With enough self-confidence to last for days, she describes herself as the “Vincent van Gogh” or the “Quentin Taratino” of rap. Her skills have garnered her multiple awards. Two Eps, two albums, and a project with the Swedish folk singer and her partner Beatrice Eli – that is impressive, to say the least. Even if songs such as “Vikken Då” may take some getting used to for German or English speaking listeners.
