Audry Funk

At this point the language barrier sets in: Audry Funk is one of the figureheads of the Mexican music scene. The artist, who now lives in New York, is a singer, composer, rapper, philosopher and activist and holds lectures at some of the most prestigious universities in the US. Her songs are often concerned with socially critical topics – among other things the prevailing readiness for violence against women* in Central America.
